Reception at the Cooley Gallery
Last night in Leesburg, VA, the Cooley Gallery hosted an art reception for several new featured artists. The well attended event offered paintings, sculpture, photographs and hand carved wooden tables. Of course, there was a wide selection of pottery from Chris Cooley himself, a resident of Loudoun County. In his spare time, Chris plays football for the Redskins.
The art found in the gallery represents work created by several talented artists. It's clear that a great deal of time is taken in choosing artists to display their works here, everything on display was made by talented individuals. While pottery pieces from several artists can be found at the Cooley Gallery, you will also find fine paintings.

The gallery opened in 2010 and is an impressive space. Eggshell colored walls feature nooks and shelving used display the artists' works. The interior features a high ceiling, which helps to give this space a lofty feel. Large pieces of pottery are found resting on unique stands made of rustic wood, metal sculpture and concrete.
